Newest vandalizations in Suzdal Russia

Post by Julianna »

Our ROAC Church again's been vandalized. We've had temples and monasteries pelted with rocks theif's breaking out windows on the Exaltation of the Holy Cross and last week comeone disparaged our coupolas with foul words in spray'd paint.

and again this's done by members of the Soviet Patriarchate :x

What a terrible atrocity! They are truly living martyrs of Christ!

I have an idea  get the bishop to tonsure some big strong men doorkeepers/porters and they can watch the doors day and night in shifts. This will not only bless their souls, but also protect Church property.

Wouldn't hurt!

In Christ,

Since when are schismatics considered to be martyrs?

Alright...

Since when in the history of the Orthodox Church have any schismatic (or heretical for that matter) group been considered martyrs for the faith? Since the ROAC IS schismatic....unless you believe it is the sole holder of the Orthodox faith or the branch theory. It is ironic how many hardliners in the traditionalist camp actually hodl the branch theory in some form believing that various synods which have anathamatized eachother all are gracefilled.
