I'm writing it that way so that they WILL be brought bac to their rightful display cases in the Galerie d'Apollon in the Louvre.
Meanwhile, i noticed this expression being used of which eish had explained the meaning in this update on the ridiculous refusal of Louvre officials to take ANY blame at ALL for the shocking incident Sunday October 19 2025 !
"I followed the hearing of the Louvre's directors.
Summary: no errors, no breaches, no faults.
Move along, there's nothing to see or to know.
France is dying from these "responsible" people who never are"
In French, the word "responsable" is used for officials, or people in charge of a particular domain.
His comment is a play on that.

Re: French Imperial &Royal Priceless Pieces Returned
A hopeful note :
Two antique snuff boxes on loan from the Louvre to the municipal city of Paris museum which had been stolen in 2024 were recovered by Paris police in 2025
So it's not impossible that the new losses will be eventually restored.
Re: French Imperial &Royal Priceless Pieces Returned
I found this great account of a French royalist [as opposed to Imperial] descended from the Bourbon dynasty [not pronounced like the alcohol type !]
I'll post more when i have time, but this post was quite powerful to see [take a look at the short clip from the Louvre]
