This link goes to Twitter through a back-end. I don't have an account so I just lurk. If you have a Twitter account then you could probably find the video at RyanMattaMedia. The video was posted about 14 hours ago. He makes the claim that the "practice" ritual was actually the real one and that the red heifer was not flawed. I have no idea what to make of his claim, but it's very odd how he tells the story and the way that he flaunts the supposed ashes and hyssop.

I haven't yet seen that post, but i happened to find THIS cogent statement on the same subject by a Shane Schaetzel on twitter :
If this is true, and it’s coming from multiple sources now, then this is what it means…
With the help of American, Christian Zionists, the “Temple Mount Faithful,” a group of Israeli Jews with the last name “Cohan” (meaning they are descended from ancient Jewish priests) have initiated the Mosaic rites that are necessary to begin rebuilding the Temple in Jerusalem.
It means that they believe they will regain control of the Temple Mount area soon.
This is where the Muslim Dome of the Rock now stands.
There is the remote, albeit unlikely, chance that they’ve decided to use the ancient site of Shiloh (already under Israeli control) in the West Bank to build a temporary tent tabernacle, which could literally be erected within a matter of hours, assuming they have all the materials ready to go.
Regardless of the location, the temple or tabernacle, the sacrifice of the red heifer indicates that the Jewish animal sacrifices have already begun and for the first time in two millennia, the Jews are offering Mosaic sacrifices again. Once the blood of the red heifer is sprinkled in the appropriate places, more animal sacrifices can begin.
Returning to the animal sacrifices of the Old Testament solidifies Jewish rebellion against the gospel of Jesus Christ. Those Christian Zionists who have helped the “Temple Mount Faithful” do this are participating in this same rebellion.
The last two times in history the Jews have tried to rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem, they were met with calamity. One was under Roman Emperor Julian the Apostate, which resulted in methane eruptions under the Temple Mount, killing the workers. The next was under the promise of support from Napoleon Bonaparte just before Waterloo. Historically speaking, supporting this project is cursed and has not just resulted in calamity for the Jews, but also catastrophe for imperial leaders who supported it (Julian was killed in battle and Napoleon’s loss at Waterloo led to his final abdication and exile). One begins to wonder what God might have in store for the United States if American actions are enabling this.
Rebuilding the temple in Jerusalem is a necessary prerequisite for the coming of Messiah according to Zionist thinking. According to Catholic thinking, however, it is a necessary precondition for the coming of Antichrist.
If a temporary tabernacle is about to be erected in Shiloh, then it means they believe control of the Temple Mount (where the Dome of the Rock stands) and groundbreaking for the new temple is eminent. The photos below are of modern-day Shiloh.

It's such a strange thing to see biblical prophesy unfold and be a part of the society that it actively ushering it in. May God have mercy on the Jewish people and the Zionists unknowingly supporting this.

I like what my Vladyka (Abp. Andrei of Pavlovskoye and Rockland) says about this, especially as today people go around today and make claims like the end times cannot happen unless the Jews build their third temple: The Jews are heretics, just like Papists, Muslims, Protestants, etc. Yes they may be the first heretics but so what? God doesn't care what these heretics do, He is not bound by whether or not heretics do X or Y in order for the end times to occur.
St. Cyril of Jerusalem in his life specifically asked a group of catechumens whether or not the antichrist would appear in the Jewish temple (pointing to Mount Zion) or in our temple (pointing to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre), all the catechumens said the antichrist would appear in the Jewish temple to which St. Cyril said: "Wrong, he will appear to be our Church."
If anything, there is more prophetic significance about the New Calendarist/Sergianist heretics who externally appear Orthodox, and have taken over historical churches, but are in the spirit of the antichrist (heresy). We must remember "anti" in Greek does not mean "against", but "in place of", a mimicry in other words.
I wouldn't say these things going on with the Jews and Muslims aren't significant, but I always worry when people focus on "the antichrist has to be Jewish" or "he has to be a Pope", "the Jewish temple has to be rebuilt before the end times", "the Muslims have to destroy Rome" etc. that it's a bit of "watching the north for an attack while the enemy comes from the south".
post scriptum: I have a lot of additional thoughts on prophecy and eschatology, especially as response to "WW3 is unfolding right now" or "there has to be a war between Israel and Iran" prophecies that usually cite New Calendarist/Sergianist "Saints" (I don't think I have to name who is pushing this garbage, especially on YouTube).
There are a lot of prophecies that were deliberately edited or censored; especially ones regarding the Soviets in Russia, which was done by Lavr Shkurla and the pro-MP faction of the ROCOR, which a good friend of mine -- the man who runs the Gregory Decapolite channel on YouTube -- personally witnessed.
It's gotten so bad with the editing of prophecies that Gregory has told me he won't believe any prophecy that was recorded after 1918 -- even if attributed to a Saint -- because the false prophecies and censorship is that widespread. Timotheos, a dearest brother of ours, has a PhD in Eschatology from Jordanville he received prior to the 2007 union: He often says prophecies -- especially regarding the end times -- should take up "one percent or less" of our mind at any given time.
St. Anatoly the Younger of Optina, St. Seraphim of Sarov and many other Saints say what will protect us from the devices of the antichrist is a strong spiritual life and God's grace that comes from the Mysteries done in His Holy Church...
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding."

You have a valid point. I am tryin to adjust my thinking on these issues. Can you point me to an online reference for the quote from St. Cyril?

I don't trust any prophecies that came after Saint Kosmas the Aetolian (most of which have already come true anyway). Heck, even some of those might have been edited/tampered with.

What was their purpose in editing the prophecies? I can think of a reason or two but I have nothing to base it on other than paranoia. I have watched a few of the Gregory Decapolite videos but I wasn't sure what to make of them
