Icons on Aircraft undersides -?!

Someone named "Inevitable West" has reported today that Greece is now painting large Icons underneath its fighter planes and various military aircraft.

Then claimed that because of this one item, Europe is returning to God.

It sounded so ridiculous - especially when there is an obvious Russian Cross, Russian style Made Without Hands Icon, Cyrillic writing in the picture on the right ! Nothing at all Greek about it.

Likewise the plane on the left has the popular Icon of Our Lady "of the Seven Arrows" - the MP has had one of these traveling around various places for years.
So surely it's a Russian-style "creation" rather than a Greek one that either Inevitable West or other party slapped together to fool audiences.

But - I think it WOULD BE a great idea, at least for ceremonial planes, like ones flying in airshows,
Wildly inappropriate for attack aircraft, obviously.

I have seen pictures of these before, but to be frank, I believe these are fake - especially the second image, looks like something an inquirer on TikTok would make in an attempt to be "based" and "cool". I don't think the Greek Government today is even pious enough to consider such a thing (forgive me, a judgemental sinner), but even if they were, any reasonable Orthodox Christian would not include the Holy Icons on such a destructive object.

RIGHT ! Good point ! That Greek government is SO secular it's next to impossible that it would do such a thing.

Now I see how these doctored images come about. Definitely a newcomer to Orthodoxy who has no clue about the nature of the Greek state for many decades now. It was downright leftist, even almost communist, after WW2, a fact that has been forgotten.
