We should not accept the legitimacy of any church having the name of TOC without making a full investigation about its history. It would be a sort of ecumenism. The canons make a distinction between: church, schism and parasynagog. So, every TOC should make its history fully transparent and explain publicly and in detail the problematic events in particular splits. I see quite the opposite.

We should be calling him Archbishop Irineos !
