PATRIARCH BARTHOLOMEW AND THE CAMOUFLAGING OF ATHEISM

Post by Fr. Panagiotes »

PATRIARCH BARTHOLOMEW AND THE CAMOUFLAGING OF ATHEISM
In the early 1900's Saint Justin Popvic's prophetic voice warned the Orthodox world about the atheistic foundation of Humanism. He described Humanism as, the desire to substitute man for the God-man. … European humanisms have built their ideals and their idol: man has been declared the supreme godhead, the ultimate godhead.... All European humanisms in their essence are nothing other than an unending revolution against the God-man Christ. (Reflections on the Infallibility of European Man; Orthodox Faith & Life in Christ, 1994). Saint Justin lamented that ‘never was there less God in man than today, never less God on earth than today'.
Many in the Orthodox Church heeded Saint Justin's words and were not fooled by European Humanism's deceitful concern for human suffering. However, a great amount of Orthodox leaders abandoned the traditions of the Holy Fathers and allied themselves with the atheistic humanists.
One of these, Patriarch Bartholomew, has taken a lead in Humanistic activities and has been labeled “the Green Patriarch” by Al Gore. Just last month, Bartholomew joined with Pope Francis in Lesvos, Greece, to camouflage their atheism with their so-called humanitarian deeds.
This month, May 23 – 24, Patriarch Bartholomew increased the camouflage at the World Humanitarian Summit held in Istanbul, Turkey. http://dochas.ie/world-humanitarian-summit-2016. United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon convened the first-ever World Humanitarian Summit from May 23-24, 2016 in Istanbul, Turkey. The stated main principle of the Summit is to re-inspire and reinvigorate a commitment to humanity and to the universality of humanitarian principles.
Atheism camouflaged as Humanitarianism.
According to the Humanist Manifesto of 2002, Humanism is a response to the widespread demand for an alternative to dogmatic religion. The world’s major religions claim to be based on revelations fixed for all time, and many seek to impose their world-view on all of humanity. Humanism recognizes that reliable knowledge of the world and ourselves arises through a continuing process of observation, evaluation and revision.
Patriarch Bartholomew addressed the Summit in Istanbul extolling the role of religion in combating social segregation. He spoke of religion not of our Saviour, not of the Kingdom of Heaven. What is this religion that Patriarch Bartholomew speaks of? 'Religion' for the Humanists is a social phenomenon that caters to the insecurities of the masses. Patriarch Bartholomew is a religious leader but not an Orthodox hierarch. Those who remain in communion with him and his fellow religious leaders are choosing to align themselves with those who camouflage atheism.

Please keep writing such exposes, Father Panagiotes, if possible. They strike right to the truth, exposing all that masquerading that goes on with the EP and its leader.

Plus to counter all the general news which now has finally caught onto this "Great and Holy Council'. All those news reports could lead astray many newcomers to Orthodoxy who have no access to such successful exposes as this one.

Thanks again for your time in composing it.
