Archimandrite Lazar warns Georgia of Antichrist

Does Archimandrite Lazar (Abashidze) realize that the forerunner of the Antichrist's is using Ecumenism to deceive the world?

Does he realize how the Georgian Church is already compromised? Read the following excerpts below.

I have numbered them to facilitate discussion.

[1.] In our Church ... They say that a bright time is coming for Christians, that in the last, apocalyptic times, the antichrist will reign all over the world, but he will never come into Georgia, etc.

[2.] However ... a large number of clergy and laity do not even notice ... how the spirit of antichrist is coming into Georgia, and sinking deeper roots into people's souls, beginning his reign in all strata of life.

[3.] ... “sex education” ... huge sums of money are flowing into Georgia, from satan’s very bosom in Europe, in order to introduce these programs! ...

[4.] A terrible, cruel persecution against human conscience, moral values, and spirituality is beginning. ...

[5.] Because now, throughout the world, there is active work going on to pave the way for antichrist, and at the head of all of these programs are the dark powers themselves. ...

[6.] Thus, in order to create this new society, three factors are needed: ecumenical religiosity (religion without grace), immorality (a person who has lost his conscience), and a break with the connection between him and his former moral and spiritual culture (a society without history).

Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me a sinner.

I believe that Archimandrite Lazar is absolutely correct to call ecumenical religiosity (religion without grace). His statements below concerning the New World Order and its agenda to impose "a terrible, cruel persecution against human conscience, moral values, and spirituality" are right on:

[5.] Because now, throughout the world, there is active work going on to pave the way for antichrist, and at the head of all of these programs are the dark powers themselves. ...

[6.] Thus, in order to create this new society, three factors are needed: ecumenical religiosity (religion without grace), immorality (a person who has lost his conscience), and a break with the connection between him and his former moral and spiritual culture (a society without history).

Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me a sinner.

Yes, what excerpts you have quoted are expressed extremely effectively.
I haven't read the article itself yet, but plan to as soon as I can.
It's refreshing to read the powerful frankness of Archimandrite Lazar's ideas.
He seems close to the point of view of a TOC cleric !

I was able to skim this article.

It is quite profound. Especially for its short length, it is packed with very sage observations.

Here is another important extract :

"They consider it of greatest importance to prepare some sort of general world order; that is, to prepare people to have all the same interests, all the same desires, all the same urges—because only then will it be possible to introduce a world leader and have control over of all humanity. Only then will the devil be able to bring to pass his ancient dream: that all of mankind worship him as the lord god.

"In order to do this they must erase everything from people—individuality, lofty thinking, and a common life of ideas and spirituality.

"An immoral person who does not know his own fatherland, who does not know the experience and spiritual riches of his ancestors, who seeks no more then passing pleasures, who lives only for the present day—this is the best possible material for creating someone who can be passively subjected to the common opinion for the new world order. "

Maria, did you mean the Georgian Patriarchate's request for 'security' for a homosexual wrongs activist - ! - as one example of how that Patriarchate has veered off the proper track ? Perhaps caving into European or American pressure ?

I did not read the article, I don't really care to. I just saw the title of it. It sounded strange to me, but maybe Patriarch Ilya II fears that said 'activist' may be beaten up by angry churchgoers. Think of all the bad press splashed all over the Western world, such as "Campaigner for [ evil cause ] barely alive in Tblisi after fracas". Of course, some versions would manage to drag in the irrelevant fact that Stalin came from Georgia to make the country look uncivilized, unbalanced, wild.
