That is JUST REPULSIVE !
The handclasp ; the fake frank looks into each other's eyes as though they like each other.
We KNOW Oba. could not STAND Kirill : it's impossible.

But WHY did Patriarch Kirill pull the sugary tone ? Why didn't he keep quiet ?
Surely he hates Ob back. So why this sickening sweet utterance ? Which is the biggest LIE imaginable !

Christ is risen!

This quote stems from 2012. Changed his position since when?

True.

Kyrill gave the masonic handshake to the Pope this year (2016) when they met in Cuba.

Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me a sinner.

Is that right ? Awful.
Why are handshakes even necessary ? It seems to me that a layperson greeting a hierarch or other member of the clergy, as pictured above, should refrain from contact with the religious person out of respect.

I know this is NOT 'done'. But I feel it SHOULD BE to avoid all this weird semi-Masonic shaking of hands.
I dislike immensely the way the American leader grasps Kirill's hand with 2 of his own. I realize that is supposed to telegraph warmth and positive regard. We know THAT"s a fraud coming from this leader - or any American one just about. So it would be better for the 2 figures to nod at each other or something.
