Confirmed: Russian and Syrian jets are on standby to shoot down any Turkish or Saudi plane that crosses into Syria. Turkey is prepared to close the Bosporus and attack Russian ships in the Mediterranean.

French PM Manuel Valls and US Secretary of State John Kerry said civilians were dying in Russian air strikes.

Russian PM Dmitry Medvedev said there was "no evidence of our bombing civilians, even though everyone is accusing us of this".

Thanks for that VT headline about the planes standing guard for any attack ; I am glad to hear that.

And yes, regarding another of the posts here, it is sheer lying all this endless repetition about russians killing civilians.
WHAT ELSE are Americans noted for ? Even since World War II and before, this is the sad truth.
Never a tiny bit remorse, either.
Or else never admitted -- or played down.

American killing of civilians is not by mistake : it is a DELIBERATE policy approved at the highest levels all these
decades and if true in World War I, then that would make it a whole century of ruthless killing of innocents.

So it's clearly only like a sociopath or abuser : accusing other parties of doing what that abuser is doing himself
just distract all bystanders from noticing.

I never believed any of that about the Russians supposedly targeting or even striking civilians by accident.
Not in THIS war. Certainly so - and with terribly tragic results - during the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan.

But not here : they are too aware of the world's eyes focused on them and are likely conducting all operations
with surgical care.

Besides, why would they want to kill Syrian civilians ? For what purpose ?

The American tactic is to strike terror and spread mayhem so as to destabilize a country which has been targeted by the Illuminati for 'regime change'.

Here, the Russians have no such agenda. Perhaps they wish to prove to the world how feeble the American so-called efforts to limit the Israeli Spies [ IS ] were. Limit is about the best one could imagine the American fight to have been all this time : there was never any effort to knock out the Israeli Spies operating in Syria or destroy their power. Never !
