Pope Francis has also argued that Christians should come together to protect their persecuted brethren, calling it an "ecumenism of blood."

From the link above at http://www.wgal.com/national/pope-franc ... t/37833574

Does everyone see how dangerous that statement is?

While I agree that Christians should help each other in Christian charity, we cannot work together using one charity foundation. I have been there and done that.

To give just one example, when diverse groups of Christians work together, then they want to PRAY together before they begin work and before they share bread together. That is what got me into the Catholic Charismatic Renewal and from there into the Ecumenical Movement.

Once Christians of different denominations pray together and break bread together, then they begin to believe that they all worship the same "God" because sharing and breaking bread together is the very idea of communion, of Christ being there in the midst whenever two or more brethren love and pray together. It becomes a big love fest where all Christians recognize their brotherhood in Christ.

Slowly a new realization comes forcefully to the forefront: How can a true Christian not pray with a Jew, a Muslim, and a Buddhist? Did not Christ say, "But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them who despitefully use you, and persecute you..." (KJV 2000).

This slippery slope of Ecumenism will lead to the establishment of a One World Religion. Father Seraphim Rose spelled out this process in Orthodoxy and the Religion of the Future.

In addition, those groups known collectively as Catholic Charities have a reputation of working with criminals to foment revolution and organized protests here in the USA. There are links between the Hungarian George Soros and Catholic Charities.

An AIM investigation also finds, however, that Soros money has gone into the Catholic Legal Immigration Network /i, an organization established by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops back in 1988. It has received at least $530,000 from the Open Society Institute.

and

But the Soros-funded Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good has high-level connections of its own. The Treasurer-Secretary is Francis Xavier Doyle, a former top official of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, and the Executive director is Victoria Kovari, a former organizer for the Gamaliel Foundation, the same group that helped launch Barack Obama’s career as a community organizer in Chicago. The chairman is Alfred M. Rotondaro, a senior fellow at another Soros-funded group, the Center for American Progress.

Currently Catholic Charities has been hired to house, feed, and find employment for militant Muslim migrants in the USA. Even though the situation in the USA has not become dire yet, the situation in Europe with these Muslim migrants has already led to the desecration of Catholic and Orthodox Churches, beheadings, and rapes.

An "ecumenism of blood" will lead most definitely to a bloodbath, to genocide.

Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me a sinner.

Is George soros a Catholic ?
I had never heard any of this information about links with Catholic Charities.
He was the one who was trying to persuade the Ukrainian faction to recognize all sorts of unspeakable immoral things in return for [Western] recognition. So that would not dovetail with the agenda of Catholic Charities, in theory anyway.

Maybe people have made plenty of puns on the financier's last name. But I noticed only now that it looks like "Sorrows", as
in Our Lady of the 7 Sorrows - or The Joy of All Who Sorrow Icon. Hmm !

About this news of the Feb 12 meeting, I happened across it earlier and was surprised.
For a run of the mill report, see :

I surely don't like that it's taking place in Cuba of all places. That seems bizarre. And at the airport ! A third world country's airport would not be the venue one would expect for this supposedly earthshaking meeting.

No, George Soros is Jewish. Here is some information on the man from Wiki: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Soros

Soros was born in Budapest, Hungary, to a nonobservant Jewish family. His mother, Elizabeth (also known as Erzsébet), came from a family that owned a thriving silk shop. His father, Tivadar, (also known as Teodoro) was a lawyer[16] and had been a prisoner of war during and after World War I until he escaped from Russia and rejoined his family in Budapest.[17][18] The two married in 1924. Tivadar was an Esperantist writer and taught Soros to speak Esperanto in his childhood.[19] Soros later said that he grew up in a Jewish home and that his parents were cautious with their religious roots.[20] In 1936, his father changed the family name from Schwartz ("black" in German) to Soros (a successor in Hungarian or will soar in Esperanto).

Going back on-topic.

Yes, Cuba is an interesting choice for this meeting. The EP has also been to Cuba, and there is a Greek Orthodox Church in Cuba. Does the MP already have a Russian Orthodox Church presence in Cuba?

Oh, I had thought so about G. Source of Sorrows for Many. But I always avoided reading a thing about him probably feeling he was totally dark.

Yes I believe that the MP started a church in Havana, but need to research this. That would be interesting, for it would be like the church the MP started in North Korea : an intelligence station only as the Orthodox population numbers only a few dozen in the host country. But an excellent listening post for various of the agencies.

Look at this spin put on the meeting ! I had to laugh at the obvious distortions about Francis and the sudden demonization of Patriarch Kirill almost out of nowhere. Some American political propagandists rushed overnight to dig up a bit of dirt on the latter and broadcast that :

"One is recognized as a humble leader who cares for the poor and has kissed the feet of peasants.

The other has been plagued by scandal and become an object of ridicule because of his luxurious lifestyle, which includes an apparent penchant for pricey ski vacations in Switzerland.

Both are religious leaders. "

It gets more alarming after this. One can almost hear the demons howling at Kirill's forceful denunciation of homosexual phony 'marriages' :
