W.O. Touting Elder Porphyrios with "That They May Be One"

Post by Matthew »

It seems that the W.O. may be using Elder Porphyrios (a "clairvoyant holy elder" who was also a staunch opponent of the Genuine Orthodox Church) as a posterboy for their ecumenistic agenda. Anyone out there think I am misreading it? Please tell me. In any case, Check it out here...

Yes, it does seem like that, indeed. This I see is the site of Assembly of World Orthodox Bishops.
Aha, clever, clever of you to catch this hidden agenda. I would not have noticed it myself.
Thanks for pointing out such things like this. Much appreciated, Matthew.

Well, for every one I notice you have notified us here with 5 more such cases.

BTW, only one more post Barbara and you will have 1900--you'll have entered the 20th century of posts... :)

Ha ha ! Convenient then that I checked this thread first, so that I can have the honor of reaching my 1900th post right on cue ! I didn't even notice that, thank you, Matthew !
That's a lot ; I hope some benefit has been derived from all my chatter....

Matthew, what did your first line mean ? I am confused to what the "5 other cases" refer. Are there at least 5 of these phony "elders" employed as mascots by the World Orthodox ? [ Frankly, I get them all mixed up because none of the details of their lives stuck with me from first hearing about them. ]

No, I wasn't actually counting anything, but just ball-parking an estimate of how much more than me you have posted news of a various things.

This Just In!
Compare the World Orthodox "Porphyrios-That They May Be One" message with this video that connects the dots on this message that is embedded in so much controlled World Order media--it will amaze you.

I did not even know about this:

Does anyone have any quotes by Elder Porphyrios on Old Calendarists? I am sure I read some where he shows he is against them, but I would like to post them here. Can't find choice ones just now.
