I saw the headline about that - whatever it is ! - I never HEARD of such a thing.
I glimpsed the picture though. The so-called priest looked RIDICULOUS balancing on something with wheels.

He was supposedly reprimanded, right ?
But who would be so desperate to reach out to the youth that he would resort to such a dumb display of purportedness "cool" behavior ? Pathetic.

It's good, by the way, that these threads are brought back around again so we can re-learn the information, and appreciate it in a new light, such as Matthew has given recently here.

Yes, the hoverboard priest was disciplined and suspended by his Filipino bishop. He also apologized.

That's right, I had forgotten that he is Filipino. That was surprising.
I am glad the Bishop stepped in with the needed action.

By the way, I wrote "purportedness". I mean "purportedly". Sorry !
