Re: RED AURORAS
There is an old American Indian proverb that a red sky is a sign of worldwide strife.
And apparently, this year has broken some records with the number of red/purple auroras, but they keep on flooding the sky.
Oh, here is one taken from Iceland by Bragi Kort on November 8, 2015 from Straumur.
Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me a sinner.

Re: RED AURORAS
When the Solar Minimum starts cooling the earth during a maunder minimum mini-ice age, then we are going to be lucky to see any auroras at all.
Therefore, thank God and enjoy His glorious heavenly displays while they last.
This one was taken by Runólfur Hauksson on November 9, 2015 from Höfn, Iceland.
Notice the tinge of red?
Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me a sinner.

This is a red aurora with a filter.
Taken by Natural Imagine on October 5, 2015 @ Tromso, Norway
I live in France and from the 24/09 to 7/10, I made a stay on the island of Kvaløya where I had the chance to have splendid auroras only 3 nights without clouds. My specialty is 3D imaging, the images published here require the use of anaglyph red /cyan glasses. This process has the default remove red lights, I also realized 2D animations seen on my web page. I write animations because I wanted to remain as faithful to reality by speeding the movement up to 4 times. I use Canon 5D filtered with Baader filters and equipped with Nikkor 35mm f / 2.8. The sensitivity was set to 3200 and the poses were 2.5 to 4 seconds.
