On March 19, 2015 in Brazil, Bishop Williamson, formerly of the SSPX, consecrated a new bishop for the SSPX Marian Corps, Fr. Jean Michel Faure.

Thanks for the information, Maria ! I hadn't heard of the Marian Corps. Glad to know. I watched the first video, will watch the other after. It seems that they are reduced to an outdoor tent ? That shows how persecuted the Bishop Williamson faction is really. Maybe this consecration will help them to expand. At any rate, it's good news.
I had found a site which I thought was Bishop Williamson's. Everything looked right. It was also Marian in nature.
But -- scouring through a few pages, I found a wishful statement that the current Pope consecrate Russia per the Fatima request. I knew this was not Bishop Williamson's, for surely his attitude is a sensible one about this imposter. Unlike the main body of the SSPX, sadly...

There are currently three Resistance priests in Ireland. Fr. Bufe is joined by Fr. MacDonald, back from Australia, both of whom are in turn jonied by Fr. Giacomo Ballini (an Italian priest who had been stationed in Cork under Fr. Wailliez, and before that in Preston).
At the 11.00 Mass in Cork yesterday, Fr. Ballini explained his departure to the faithful, and handed out documentation to better explain what is going on in the SSPX and why he felt that he had no choice but to leave. Fr. Wailliez is reported to have gone down to the chapel shortly afterwards in a rage to change the locks on the church (why would that be necessary?) and otherwise prove himself as vindictive as possible.
Meanwhile, Fr. MacDonald offered Mass in Wexford yesterday for around 45 people, in the chapel currently used by the Resistance which was once used by Dom Marmion some 100 years ago. Three chapels: Wexford, Cashel (Tipperary) and Tralee (Kerry) are now lost to the SSPX and with the Resistance. This is in addition to the other Resistance chapels where Mass is regularly offered: Kesh (Fermanagh), Longford (where Fr. MacDonald will be offering regular Mass) and Dublin (at the Skylon Hotel, where Fr. Bufe will be offering Mass next Sunday at 10am).

Why would Orthodox Christians desire the expansion of a heretical and schismatic group like the SSPX or one of its offshoots? Why would the Orthodox consider a consecration by them good news?
Barbara, it is not merely Pope Francis that is leading souls to hell. It has been the entire rotten Papacy for centuries! Pope Benedict has led many souls to hell as well, and Pope John Paul II before him. There is nothing venerable or admirable or pious about the Roman hierarchy, especially in our lifetimes.
Orthodox Christians object to the arrogant and vain pretensions of any claimant to the office of the papacy, not merely a particular personality like Francis.
These supposedly "traditionalist" Catholic societies are merely schisms among heresy. They are not the Church of Christ.

And this is why we must pray for those in the SSPX and in their splinter groups.
These people could question why God is allowing all this tribulation and then lose their faith entirely.
Because they view the Papacy as the true church, and because the Bible states that Christ and His
Church will remain with us until the end of the world, they may feel betrayed, and begin to question
the validity of the Holy Bible and God's promises.
They do not realize that in these end times, the faith of many will grow cold, and that apostasy and
heresy will be rampant. They must find this remnant church, which is not the Roman Catholic Church,
the SSPX, nor World Orthodoxy, but True Orthodoxy.
