Drop Starbucks like a hot potato !

Post by Barbara »

While this news is now 3 years old, I just caught sight of the confirmation of a general reputation for extreme liberalism and support of immorality, the fishy mermaid-logoed company announced its full backing for homosexual wrongs [not 'rights'] and 'marriage'.

Even if one were to turn a blind eye to that glaring flaw, an Oregon writer argues logically that it's really no great shakes as a coffee company and should be boycotted rather than patronized with qualms :

"Starbucks' credentials as a trendy, "progressive"-minded company are certainly more solid than its credentials as the maker of exceptional coffee. Seriously, why can't Starbucks make a good Americano? Does it need to have a distinctly burnt taste and cost $3.00? Thankfully, I have many options here in Eugene, Oregon, and so I only occasionally go to Starbucks. But that "only occasionally" is now turning to "never". I'm done with Starbucks. There is better coffee to be had—and from companies that are more interested in making good Americanos than using java as a platform from which to attack and undermine the foundational core of society and civilization. "

While looking around for information about the Goldendale, Washington Greek Convent of St John the Forerunner, I came across this article on a Father Michael Dunaway, the priest for the Convent - assumedly. [The Convent's site is not working
these days, so that information is not able to be confirmed offhand.]

Fr Michael says in the interview linked to below that he is the only Orthodox priest roasting coffee.
[ Is this actually true ? What about the Vashon Island, Washington monks ? Perhaps they only package and market coffee ?
Not too important but wondering if this claim is correct. ]

If so, there are clearly several alternatives to imbibing starbucks [ the name itself is so unappealing !] in World Orthodoxy circles.

In my opinion, better to avoid the grainy drink altogether !

Greetings Barbara!

The Starbucks logo is a satanic caricature or mockery of holy images of the All-pure Mother of God. I have boycotted Starbucks for many years now.

It should be stated that the logo has changed a couple of times. The original logo featured a bare-breasted mermaid. The next design of the Starbucks logo featured the mermaid (or siren) posed with her split tail/fins or what have you, positioned in the most unladylike manner. The latest version of the logo is zoomed in, so her whorish position is not as obvious or apparent, at first glance.

One will notice that our Panagia Theotokos is depicted adorned with three stars, one on her forehead and one on each shoulder, symbolizing her ever-virginity prior to, at the time of, and subsequent to the Incarnation and birth of the Divine Logos. Notice these three stars on the robe of the Theotokos form a triangle.

The Starbucks logo also contains three stars (five-pointed ones, representing the chief goddess, the so-called "sacred feminine"), which also are positioned in a triangular pattern. The siren or mermaid ("sea-maiden") is crowned, in imitation of Our Lady Mary ("Star of the sea") who is the Queen of Heaven.

The Great Whore of Babylon styles herself a queen, as we read in the Apocalypse:
"I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow." (Rev 18.7)

Notice the mermaid in the Starbucks logo is sitting, crowned as a queen.

The Starbucks logo is a figure of the Whore of Babylon, who sits upon many waters. She is known variously by numerous titles, including Astarte, who is the same as Aphrodite. Astarte derives from the Greek word for star, and Aphrodite is derived from the Ancient Greek 'aphros,' meaning sea foam.

Hans Christian Andersen wrote a popular book called The Little Mermaid in 1836. In the original story by Hans Christian Andersen, what happens to the mermaids when they die? They turn into sea foam (aphros), which is key to the fable of the generation of Aphrodite.

The whore Aphrodite, the goddess of passionate lust, sexual desire, and beauty, (which is related to the word aphrodisiac) is traditionally portrayed nude, or at least her top portion is most often portrayed nude, like the mermaid in the original logo. The mermaid's hair covers her bare chest in the more recent logo.

Since ancient times, the sixth day, Friday, the Preparation day, was dedicated to Aphrodite/Venus, and this is the day the Mohammedans have chosen for their holy day. So we can see the connection between Friday, the day dedicated to Aphrodite/Venus, and the five-pointed star and crescent moon.

St. John of Damascus, the Fount of Knowledge, Section on the Heresy of Islam:

They are also called Saracens, which is derived from Sarras kenoi, or destitute of Sara, because of what Agar said to the angel: "Sara has sent me away destitute." These used to be idolaters and worshiped the morning star and Aphrodite, whom in their own language they called Khabar, which means great.

Great, as in the Great Whore of Babylon. You will notice that in the Acts of the Apostles, chapter 19, Diana is several times referred to as the "great" goddess of the Ephesians.

The five-pointed red star was also made use of by the God-hated Bolsheviks, along with the hammer and sickle. Saturn was said to have used a sickle given to him by his mother Gaia, to dismember his father Ouranos:

The Recognitions of St. Clement:

But calling to mind, it is said, that perhaps his own father Saturn might beget another son, who might be more powerful than himself, and might expel him from the kingdom, he went to war with his father, along with his brothers the Titans; and having beaten them, he at last threw his father into prison, and cut off his genitals, and threw them into the sea. But the blood which flowed from the wound, being mixed with the waves, and turned into foam by the constant churning, produced her whom they call Aphrodite, and whom with us they call Venus.

Now, with regards to the use of the symbol of the hammer by the Bolsheviks:

How is the hammer of the whole earth cut asunder and broken! how is Babylon become a desolation among the nations! (Jeremiah 50.23)

As is written by the prophet, Babylon is symbolized by a hammer, and the five-pointed star and crescent, as noted above, is a symbol for the Great Whore Babylon. The sickle bears a similar shape as the crescent moon of Islam.

The Jewish Bolsheviks along with the Mohammedans are idolatrous worshipers of The Great Whore, personified by Aphrodite/Venus.

Hi,
Xenios here, Maria's husband, great on your research, I was born in Seattle, and for some reason, felt very uneasy about the whole area. I left in 1956, only to come back for visits to my family, briefly. The many connections of the "occult" and political intrigue have always interested me, and my parents coming from Scandinavia in the 20's had great knowledge of what Europe was all about. I read the Astor - Rothschilds - etc. I have noted the "Starbucks logo" when it came into being. Keep up the great research, you are connecting the dots I have long suspected. Xenios

Welcome, Xenios ! Please contribute much more.

I am very intrigued by what you wrote about Seattle.
You know, it used to be a most wholesome city full of decent people. THEN, something happened which I used to trace to a TIME Magazine cover story about Seattle which opened it up to masses of "immigrants" from other parts of the country.
Suddenly, there was a big "artist" colony, then Microsoft, then Amazon: i think a once - gem of a city got taken over by
low quality people, leftists, and crass materialists.
Do you have any insights into what happened ? These are only guesses, because you have been there occasionally over the years, you say, to keep up with family. Yes, there were so many Norweigians amongst the original Seattle families.

Cyprian !
You are surely our resident Genius !!
I didn't know this about the logo. I always knew it was sinister, but not clear WHY. I hated looking at that sea-monster creature.
If i ever had anything with the logo on it by chance, I would paste something over the offensive logo !
Now I know WHY I felt revolted by it.

Yes ! Another "star" to add to your collection of bad ones ! Minus, of course Star of the Sea, the title from ancient Mt Carmel of the Queen of Heaven.

I never liked Hans Christian Andersen. The Little Mermaid statue in Copenhagen is such a nothing. Yet it's obligatory for every tourist to see it and photograph this boring statue.
This phenomenon gives one insight into the desperation to promote tourist destinations on the basis of very little to distinguish a city.
I remember a church dedicated to St Ansgar from my trips to Denmark. Or the interesting town of Skagen.

Delighted to make your acquaintance, Xenios!

Thank you for the words of encouragement. Yes, sadly, Seattle is very liberal and godless. The current mayor of Seattle is an effeminate who cohabitates with his sodomite partner. Billionaire Chairman and CEO of Starbucks, Howard Schultz, is a fanatical and unapologetic Zionist.

Lord have mercy.
