Regarding the socalled "Metropolis of Italy" I could be agree with You that the status is questionable but the behaviour of Archbishop Volodymir of St. Julius and Classis why do you think has abbandoned the True Orthodoxy?

Reading these posts reminds me of the Gospel reading for today ( June 9/May 27)

Matthew 7:15-21

"Beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits..." The Holy Fathers warn that many may speak the faith, but we need to keep our eyes open to see what they do.

This is not just a matter of showing to be Orthodox. What God wants from us is to live for Him. And if we live for Him, it will show. But, those liars that say they are living for Him will eventually be exposed by their own behaviour.

If we are living for God then we will recognize who is lying about their faith.

The Synod of Metropolitan John (LoBue) is the only ecclesial group that has anathematized the Orthodox doctrine of the Name of God. None of the True Orthodox Synods in modern Russia have issued any condemnation of this teaching, and some of them have expressed open support of Name-Glorifying, the Orthodox doctrine that God’s Divine Energies are present in His Name and the uncreated divine energies are themselves names of God.

I actually emailed Met. John asking about this synod. he said the following.

 Metropolitan Onufrios has been in communion with our Synod since 2011.  Metropolitan Angelos and Metropolitan Seraphim were in communion with our Synod from 2011 until July 2014, when the issue of imysalvie (name worship) caused a breach in that relationship.  With the return to the rejection of that teaching, their relationship with Our Synod has now been restored.  The choice of Metropolitan Onufrie not to participate in this latter relation is an option that Metropolitan Onufrie has chosen to exercise and it does not disturb the relationship with our Synod.

I'd also like to add that on the latest NFTU article, which talks about the latest reunification of TOC synods, Deacon Joseph Suaiden starts off by writing the following:

Over the past year, discussion were held between the Bishops of the Autonomous Orthodox Metropolia and the Churches of Metropolitan Anghelos of Avlona and Metropolitan Seraphim over the question of acceptance of the heresy of Imyaslavie. Satisfied with the reversal of the Greek and Russian positions, communion was restored, with the approval of the sister Synod of Metropolitan Onufrie of Bergamo.

I would personally say this is enough proof that this synod should be listed as a True Orthodox Church.
