Awesome Bridges of the World

The resting place of threads that were very valid in 2004, but not so much in 2024. Basically this is a giant historical archive.

The only bridge I recognized was the great classical Ottoman one at Mostar.
It was destroyed but rebuilt not too long ago.
Some of them are fascinating ! Like the Taiwanese one with the Dragon tail.
Good idea, Maria.

I want to check back over the Roman ones again.

The aqueduct at Segovia is a most incredible Roman-engineered creation.
I saw that in person traveling through that area. It's breathtaking to see in person, so maybe these old bridges
are similar. Pictures don't do them enough justice.
