About this article, much is superb.

However a couple points to consider.

First, there have been MANY highly moral leaders who sat on thrones. Not only Tsar Nicholas II.
Even if the author said "Orthodox rulers", still there are plenty of others as well.

Then, what is this ? "...while warding off Revolution in the West".

That is too vague. I can't think offhand of any revolution Russia stopped in its tracks pre-1917. We need clear examples.
Or perhaps Vladimir means that Imperial Russia kept attempts from Europe and Wall Street to overthrow her monarchy
at bay ?? Sounds like an important point but not clear !
