Baking soda to wash hair ? That's funny.
I know there is some controversary about where and when to use baking soda.
I am not a fan of it myself.
It feels kind of awful, where essential oils feel so heavenly.
But these are always good ideas. Lemon and vinegar are great.
I use vinegar mainly, and keep lemons for tea !
By the way, there is a new soap called "Eucalan" which is for traveling, I guess, mainly.
It's for washing wool, but can also be used as a shampoo.
It comes in Lavender, Eucalyptus, Regular and one other flavor.
I don't like the packaging that well.
But it is worthwhile to consider when one knows that this soap is unique in that
it doesn't need to be washed out, thus works well where water is scarce [visiting a skete or some such
remote pilgrimage place].
