I was surprised how calm and collect Edward Snowden was.

He comes across as sincere, caring, and kind.

That is the same impression I got just looking at the same old picture usually displayed of
him everywhere, and reading excerpts of his words in the mainstream articles. These latter
are totally derisive, so one must read between the lines to get a sense of his character.
Where on earth is a fair media in America ?
I am glad the Germans were able to move on this problem and make use of his talent and knowledge.
Of course it was the tapping of Angela Merkel's cellphone which incensed them, and assumedly

I hope he DOES win the Nobel Peace Prize ! That would give a much needed boost

Forgive me ladies, but...

Basing a worldview on how you feel about a person on T.V. is exactly how we got into this mess. We are so well trained to respond emotionally and with certain psychological prompts, but we must resist!

There is a video on the Guardian website showing staff destroying computer parts supposedly in order to destroy, or render unreadable, Information given them by Snowden.

I know computers, being a technician, and it's funny to watch them drill holes in, and completely destroy parts that do not store memory, while only scratching the outer casing of the actual hard drive (where data is actually stored,) leaving it in a state that still looks usable. It's all fake.

Its. All. Fake.

Wake. Up.

These media corporations, in collusion with the intelligence community and military, foisted 9/11 on us, have never given even a single look at anything but the official line, and now you think you can trust a spy interviewed on T.V? I don't think that is rational. No, wait... I know this is not rational. These information gatekeepers, I mean in education, media, publishing, films, everything they produce is either a lie or a distortion to make the truth look like a lie.

It doesn't matter what is true about spying, just use your imagination and assume the worst - every single camera, microphone and electrical signal is available to your overlords, and everything it see's hears and says is being recorded all the time. There, live with it.

Problem is, you are still giving the benefit of the doubt to proven liars, gangsters and shills because they seem nice and appear in the popular press. This is how the entire deception works, just that little bit of credit, that tiny little glimmer of 'maybe this news person is sincerely trying to enlighten me by interviewing this well presented man who worked for the most evil system of governence by deception that has ever existed.'

The way to deal with this age of deception is to stop feeling like we need to come to any conclusion in regards to anything the media says at all. We can just stand back and observe what it is they want us to become engaged in and then ask ourselves why? We dont need an answer, we just have to inquire and see what additional facts do to the way currently known facts relate to each other. Without any need to 'know whats happening in the world' we can just look at this stream of interweaving narratives and try to understand, as much as we can, what exactly is being achieved by all this spy drama kerfuffle.

When you watch TV, brain activity switches from the left to the right hemisphere. How much? Research by Professor Herbert Krugman[3] showed that the right hemisphere becomes twice as active as the left, an extreme neurological anomaly.

The crossover from left to right releases a surge of endorphins, which include beta-endorphins (pain numbing) and enkephalins. This tuning-out allows the right hemisphere of our brain, which processes information emotionally and uncritically, to function unimpeded.

In other words, we switch off our critical thinking abilities and just absorb anything thrown at us. We watch emotionally, not intelligently.

Personally, I dont know how any Christian, and in particular, Orthodox Christian, and especially, True Orthodox Christian, can continue to allow themselves to watch T.V, at this stage of the game, without assuming, first and foremost, that everything they are being presented with is complete and utter lies. Better still, just dont watch it at all.

There is an old saying among 'conspiracy theorists' that if you want to know what is going on in the world, watch the news and assume that whatever you are being told, the opposite is true. It's tongue in cheek of course, but really needs to be our starting position with everything the media is throwing at us.

Sorry to be harsh, but we must be hyper vigilant - wise as serpents.

In all likelihood he is a CGI character created on a computer. He may very well be nothing but an actor. At the very least he is an employee of an intelligence agency who is simply playing the role he has been assigned. Is this not what spies do?

Tell me, if the spy agencies of the nations of the world have not got complete control of the mainstream commercial media, what on earth have they been doing for the last several decades? I have assumed for many years that the media (I mean commercial, alternative, or any other form that supports, even by opposing, the consensus narrative) is a power above governments and even armies.

The job of spies is to transform the perceptions of populations by non-violent, deceptive means - infiltrating and taking over countries by stealth. This is achieved by gaining control, first and foremost, of that nations media institutions. Failing this, they inspire and foment 'democracy movements' such as the recent 'color revolutions' and the 'Arab spring,' while pretending to 'whistle-blow' back home and maintain the appearance that you are more free than the Syrians, because 'at least the European media is still impartial and taking the American regime to task.'

Their job is to create exactly the kinds of reaction this Snowden story got from you and Barbara:

An emotional connection (fear, hope, despair etc.) with the character/story/conflict/question/issue or whatever it is they are pushing. First and foremost, they want your attention, secondly, they want you to take them seriously, third, they want you to take a side, or adopt a viewpoint or in some way or another go on to play your own role in their creation of a false reality by taking the narrative and continuing to develop it, beyond the bounds of the screen or page so that what they pretend becomes real for the people on the ground.

But, this is not all they are trying to achieve, there are many different and diverse reasons for each and every line of text and minute of footage we are shown. I can't even begin to imagine that I see or understand all of them, but a major aim of the media is to maintain in the people who consume it the impression that there are various nations, governments, factions, groups or whatever that compete, form alliances, or interact and collide with each other in a way that appears to suggest that the power elites of this planet do not already act as one.

Snowden is a total fake. He is an agent acting on behalf of the U.S. government, not against it. He is not a patriot and he is not standing up for the interests of the American people. He is the chief actor in a government orchestrated psy-op. The government expressly wants all this supposedly "leaked" inside information about NSA surveillance to come to the attention of the American people.

Why, you may ask? For multiple reasons, but to speak to one reason that may apply to you personally, to scare good folks like yourself from speaking the truth boldly, as Christians are called to do. Because of the supposed "revelations" of Snowden, many people expend much effort and energy thinking they are concealing their conversations from the government, and many more are simply afraid to speak the truth openly because they believe they are being monitored. The government has a vested interest in wanting people to feel too scared to speak out against them, and Snowden is all part of their scheme.

I never worry in the least if the govt. is monitoring my conversations, whether on the Internet or on the phone. I sincerely hope they are listening! Perhaps they might learn something useful.

Re: Texas.

Barbara, allow me to posit something for you and Maria, and others to ponder. If Texas is in fact some last bastion of resistance against the agenda of the New World Order, standing up for religious morality against the Supreme Court and such, then how come the people of Houston, the largest city in the state, elected an openly-lesbian radical as their mayor?

Please reconcile this for me.

The much more plausible scenario is that the so-called Illuminati deliberately planned and orchestrated this opposition movement in Texas, the Lone-Star state, to place it in the news, for ritualistic purposes in line with their diabolical agenda. It is connected to the flag of Texas (almost identical to Chile), which contains a large star, Ken Starr (from Texas), Starman (Prince Harry) and their plans to perpetrate a simulated meteor strike on a major dam, playing God, recreating plagues on Egypt, and drowning the Egyptians in the sea.

It also has to do with their upcoming "killing of the king" assassination ritual, associated with the state where "American Sniper" Lee Harvey Oswald allegedly assassinated Jack Kennedy.
