I have wondered about the moderate to high proton stream that is documented from NOAA data a few weeks ago. The duration of that huge proton stream does not correspond to the CME data from the sun. Instead, it appears to be coming from our galaxy. There are other times when the proton stream has absolutely no explanation with no CME and no X-flare to account for its presence. Yet, this proton stream does penetrate the earth to its core and could be warming the earth's core or causing instability.
