Sodom University and Gomorrah TV

Post by Matthew »

Two news stories show how bad things are getting.

1. Brown University Students To Host Nudity Week
Some students at Brown University are ditching their clothes for a week to celebrate nudity. Nudity in the Upspace includes nude open mic nights, yoga classes, body painting, a discussion forum and other nude student performances and events. The discussion forum is described as “an open and honest discussion about power, privilege, race, class, gender, ability, and other isms how they intersect with nudity, body image, nudity in relation to (de)sexuality, etc.” Becca Wolinsky and Camila Pacheco-Fores, both juniors at the Ivy League school, are coordinating the week-long series of events. They say their hope is to promote education and a positive experience

2. Homosexual And Heterosexual Couples To Have Sex In Front Of Live TV Audience On New Mariella Frostrup Show

Couples are to have sex in front of a studio audience for the first time in a new Channel 4 programme called Sex Box. The aim of the show is to promote honest and open discussion around "real sex" in light of the explosion of online porn. The volunteers include a homosexual couple in their 30s who hope to shatter myths about homosexual sex, and a heterosexual couple in their early 20s who think people do not talk openly enough about sex. After their time in the sex box, the couples will talk to agony aunt Mariella Frostrup, psychotherapist Phillip Hodson, sex and relationship expert Tracey Cox and US sex columnist Dan Savage. The programme will form part of Channel 4’s Campaign for Real Sex Season. Ralph Lee, the broadcaster's head of factual, said: "The explosion of online pornography is one of the stories of our time and the Campaign for Real Sex season is our response to it.

Hello Symeon,

Your thread has been moved into Controversial Politics and Social Issues.

There was a monk from Mt. Athos who said that those who pray to God do not need to watch the news as God will provide for all our needs. The programs above can distract us from prayer and from what is truly essential to our salvation.

Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me a sinner.

Lord have mercy! I was not recommending we watch such programmes! Entirely the opposite. I mean these things are reprehensible. I thought that was clear from the title of the thread. In any case, forgive me for the wrong impression. They are indeed to be avoided. The monk from Mount Athos definitely has my vote on what he said!

Of course, you were not recommending that we watch such programs. However, the discussion of such topics should be done in Controversial Political and Social Issues as our social mores are sorely lacking these days. In some communities, anything goes.

Such unedifying topics do not put anyone in a sober state of mind. Furthermore, some of our readers may not even want to be reminded of these ungodly worldly events.

Nevertheless, parents of young children and teenagers should be aware of the shocking happening at the kindergarten, elementary, high school, and collegiate levels of education with touchy-feely programs, sex education from K-college, Muslim education, atheistic humanism, drugs, etc.

Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me a sinner.
