I think that the posts here in the general forum are much more respectful than those we see elsewhere on other discussion boards where "masonic World Orthodox" have no appreciation or sense of the sacred or of God, and dare to say things that should not be said.

If E Cafe moderators were to apply a rule that every thought be of God and that every post be directed toward God with appropriate repentant and humble choice of words, it would be most difficult, and then too, no doubt, we would fail in humility by using words that really do not reflect how we are feeling at that moment in time. Lord have mercy. Also, such words of false piety can serve to promote prelest.

We express how we feel using words that are often inadequate to express our full range of human emotions and passions. Even though we strive to cooperate with God's grace by bringing our emotions and passions under control of our God-enlightened nous, we still struggle. As Joanna says, we are sinners.

Or believed. I was shocked to read some of the things they believe and then when I wrote something within Orthodox thinking, they attacked me. They are definitely not of like-mind.

I think that is the stance that is understood though. If we believe we are true Orthodox, then we should know that repentance is our struggle and main work. It is much more comfortable here although I have been a problem to others. Please forgive me.

Yes, amen, Arcmode, we have much in common on this topic. Indeed, there is much in the Truth Movement which is anti-globalist, and they have exposed a lot of the secret dealings and relationships of people, organisations, events, and so forth which are speeding toward the same goal. Also, the WND does put out some disinformation. That is true. Perhaps some of it is even on purpose. However, much of it could be simply the views of people who have been held under a wrong point of view, but who are sincere believers of mainline Christian denominations.

I do think however, that not all the ideals and hopes of Globalism are bad. Some of them are in fact good. After all, the Kingdom of God, the Church, is a global entity with global (Catholic or Universal) ambitions. The Apostle Paul speaks that we are all One in the Son, that their is therefore now neither greek nor jew, male nor female, rich nor poor, free nor slave, and so forth. However, the antichrist Globalist movement is antichrist because it is run by people who use good ideals to sell their agenda to subdue and subject the world to THEIR control and power. Like communism which never reached the proposed final stage of real equality, but stalled out in the dominance of revolutionary leadership, so also the globalist movement will never reach the proposed final stage of real freedom and goodness in society, because they never intend that it should, they simply desire to be the top dog on the "evolutionary pyramid" of social and perhaps even biological darwinism. We look not to this false hope but the true Hope handed down to us through the ages by the Holy Fathers and Mothers of the Church, the God-bearing saints.
