Clergy-Laity Council of the Serbian True Orthodox Church

In the period between the 19th and the 27th of October this year in Belgrade will be held the Clergy-Laity Council of the Serbian True Orthodox Church, Resava-Shumadia Eparchy.
Along with His Grace Lord Bishop Akakije of Resava and Shumadia, members of the eparchial committee, the clergy and representatives of the faithful, several bishops from our sister Russian True Orthodox Church will take part, with His Eminence Archbishop Tikhon, the president of the Holy Synod of the Russian TOC, at their head. Various distinguished guests have also been invited to the Council.
The Clergy-Laity Council of the Serbian TOC, the Resava-Shumadia Eparchy, will be occupied with defining the ecclesiastical and legal status of the Serbian TOC, establishing omologia in regards to the confession of faith in relation to the pan-heresy of ecumenism, the apostasy of Sergianism, and the New Calendar Schism. It will also concern itself with organizing the administration of the Serbian TOC, Resava-Shumadia Eparchy, and many other topics.
