Milan, 26 august / 08 September 2013 – 11th Sunday after Pentecost -
HOLY MARTYRS ADRIAN AND NATALIE
The Holy Synod met in the city protected by God of Milan .
Present were: His Beatitude Evloghios , Archbishop of Milan, His Grace Vladymir St. Julius Island, His Grace Avondios , Bishop of Castrum LEUCI and Archimandrite Justinian , Secretary of the Holy Synod.
It was decided:
1) to erect the diocese of Altinum, vacant for more than 1000 years;
2) Proclamation of the future Bishop Justinian (in December, there will be the election and on march 2013 the consecration);
3) Addenda to the Statute of the Church dated 1996;
4) Formulation of the appointment of Vladyka Vladymir as Head of Department for the external church relation;
5) Dissolution of the Holy Synod of the former Autonomous Church of America; –
6) The Tomos of Autonomy of the former Autonomous Church was definitively suspended and the bishopric of New York suppressed.
7) The Former Archbishop of New York defrocked and excommunicated;
8) Former Bishop Fanourios defroked and exomunickated;
9) Former Archbishop Onofrie was suspended “a Divinis” - Bishop Onofrie keep his episcopal dignity and will have 2 months to do penance and return to its Mother Church - After this time will be deposed, if he doesn’t repent after another month, let him be excommunicated;
