So what is the deal with these things? Are they really some type of spiritual danger that allows you to directly communicate with the Devil himself, or are they just child play toys? Several people claim to have debunked the Ouija board as a psychological hoax, yet, I know other people who claim to have experienced pure evil after using one. Will they answer any question you ask it? For example, if you ask it "Who shot Kennedy?" would you get a true answer?

Ouija Boards?

Re: Ouija Boards?
Hello,
Well I think this thread can be moved maybe to theology and tradition because it raises the question of spiritism. First of all, what is a OUIJA board? Basically, it is a board that has written on it OUI (yes in French) and JA (yes in German) and generally letters. People will put a glass on the board, will call a spirit and ask them to move the glass on the board on the letters and words to make the answers. In the first version, all attendants put a finger on the glass, so we can say that the direction the glass takes is the result of the sum of the forces that the fingers make, but in the most frightening version nobody touches the lass that is supposed to move alone.
Now let us go to spiritual aspect. OUIJA boards is included in a series of practice including spiritism, astrology, divination, witchcraft, sorcery and so on that God forbade since the Ancient Alliance (I don't have the extracts in mind) condemning to death penalty, which indicates these were grave sins.. Such practice is thus a sin but also very dangerous spiritually. Basically, you're likely to attract a demon that may use this tool to trick you or even possess you. Don't forget that the demon being the father of lie, you should not expect a true answer from such practice. Regarding the dangers, I have some direct testimonies that may interest you:
a person I knew had a member of his family who committed suicide. They decided to call the "soul" of the person. They let the glass move freely,no one touched it and it moved! The message it made going from letters to another was to invite the person to commit suicide too, to be united with the deceased person
in many testimonies that were made by catholic exorcists, places where such practice took place happened to be haunted (I mean that demons dwelt there, which is logical since they were called) and many possessed people had played with this sort of games or more generally spirit practices.

Re: Ouija Boards?
You seem to be obsessed with demonic things, James.
For the umpteenth time: NO you will not find any truth in Satan or his demons. They are the enemies of God and therefore, enemies of truth.
Jean-Serge is right. Ouija boards are a way to contact demonic beings. But, of course, they aren't essential. Just say no, James.
Re: Ouija Boards?
I had no idea about the "Oui' and "Ja", thank you for supplying that background, Jean-Serge.
I came across a mention of something called a "psychograph", which was perhaps a predecessor of the scary evil board.
Supposedly someone named Baron Langsdorff using this thing made a prediction [accurate apparently] of
an attack on Czar Alexander II using bombs.
In fact anarchists DID assasinate their monarch while out in his carriage in St Petersburg.
The Cathedral of the Saviour on the Blood marks the place, as we all know.
I don't know anything more about this character Langsdorff. Does anyone else by any chance ?

I think the devil may mix some truth with falsehood in order to gain trust.
Stay far away from Ouija Boards. I use to listen to paranormal radio and the Art Bell show. Everyone --including Art --advises people to stay away from those things. They open demonic doors and ruin lives.

This is true. Good post, soldier.
Snake poison is only 5 percent poison and the rest is good protein. Yet all it takes is that 5 percent poison to produce a deadly effect.
Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me a sinner.
