Women's nail polish toxic, too

I caught sight of this silly video and watched part of it.
What actually got my attention was the way that the 2 characters speak.
It's very typical, with that arch uplift in tone at the end of most sentences.

I don't recommend for men to watch this, as the interviewer deliberately wore a tasteless dress
to draw attention to herself. She speaks in a daffy, self-conscious way, too.

This is a reminder of how living in the secular world creates a uniformity of speech and behavior
which is not becoming. Each person speaks the same as the next, without originality.
[Sort of like Communism, probably !]

Anyway, for those of use who do like fingernail polish, we might want to look around for healthier brands.
Though the "fish scale" ingredient they complain about does not sound scary to me at all.

Though I would pass on some of the other stuff ! :

I have never liked nail polish. It causes my fingers to itch.

Later I found out that women who wear nail polish can have children with embarrassing birth defects. I will not go into detail. The chemicals in nail polish do pass through the skin (nails) and remain in our bodies.

I actually like it, and even like the smell of nail polish in a very small dose. I think it blocks out some evil things, though
it's hard to explain.
That's one reason I have worn it.

The smell of nail polish can be addictive. It is not good for the brain.

Ah, that makes sense.

But I do think, like a lacquer on wood, it somehow PROTECTS also. I wore toenail polish for that very reason,
not for looks.

And same with fingernail polish. In today's world, one is subjected to so much darkness everywhere one goes in public places
that I used to believe that the negatives of the nail polish are outweighed by its benefit.

I just don't have time to apply it anymore, and it does take work to keep up, which is almost impossible to do at some stages of one's life,
where chores take precedence over an elegant appearance.

If I were going for job interviews, I would surely wear it, for example. Partly to ward off any negative aspect of the interviewer or atmosphere.

This is completely my slant which others may deem silly. They are welcome to.
I am mentioning this only for the sake of a small number of younger girls who might see the spiritual perspective and be able to use it
for their own protection.

Of course, the ugly styles of nail polish popular today - horrible colors, square nails, spangles, all that is tacky.
I refer to clasic solid color nail polish in GOOD taste !

Nail polish as spiritual protection? I have never before heard that claim. For example, nuns and monks do not use nail polish as a spiritual protection. They use holy water and unceasing prayer.

When I was in high school, our health instructors stressed the importance of having clean hands as cuticle infections can become deadly. These instructors insisted that we trim our nails regularly, wash our fingernails, take care of the nail bed, and do not bite our cuticles. Men as well as women should be careful to take care of their fingernails and toenails. Furthermore, taking care of one's toenails can save socks and prevent fungal infections.

On the other hand, there have been many articles and TV news media segments devoted to the dangers of fungal infections due to the use of nail polish and the application of those artificial nails.
