Yes, we will be dupes if we believe false news reports that could cause us to lose our faith.
For example, during the time of Soviet Russia, particularly in Tito's time,
the Soviet news media declared that God was dead; that the Church was dead.
If we believed that falsified news, then we would be denying Christ's words
that He would always be with His Church and that the Devil would not prevail over it.
