I just feel the paranoid mindset gets out of hand. Right now, we just don't know what the Boston bombing was about. We can speculate all we want, but in the end we just don't have evidence.

In the meantime, I sure hope Cyprian is wrong about Flushing, NY. A Facebook friend yesterday reported that the NYPD precinct in Flushing caught on fire.

Perhaps that is a prelude of things to come. How did it catch on fire? Was it another simple electrical short similar to what happened at the JFK Library? What is happening to maintenance?

Last I heard it was electric. He's a cop so I assume he really does have inside knowledge. And it was actually a police academy. But I haven't heard anything about it since, so I'm assuming it wasn't too serious. IMHO it doesn't mean anything significant. It's very easy to read significance into insignificant events. I know that everything has SOME kind of purpose in God's plan, but I think it's arrogant to assume we can always be privy to that purpose. The Lord moves in mysterious ways! As Freud said, sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

Incredible! A newly constructed police academy that is not even occupied?

Sounds like sloppy construction work. Are these contractors trying to get more work?

What is going on with our society?
