The Little Known but Beautiful Torngat Mountains

The resting place of threads that were very valid in 2004, but not so much in 2024. Basically this is a giant historical archive.

For anyone interested in stunning but little known nature holiday getaways, check out the stunning beauty of Labrador's Torngat Mountains. There are many holiday tours running in the summer. This article below also has a few beautiful pics.

In summer, it is warm and all you need is a Tee shirt and shorts!
Uh, er, but then come to think of it, that's what a lot of Canadians wear outside in winter, too... 8)

"The Rock" is cold, windy, foggy and full of crazy moose, and crazier newfies.

I wonder why Newfies are not as crazy as the Norwegians? But if they were, then all those lovely fjords would have dozens or even hundreds of pretty fishing villiages decorating the Torngat Fjords of Labrador. They look the same as Norway.

By the way, does anyone know how many Newfies it takes to change a lightbulb?

It takes 3. One to hold the lightbulb, and two to turn the ladder.
