You can always check out my flickr site to see more recent works. If you happen to know anyone who would like an icon commissioned, I would appreciate the reference.

Iconography by Father Photios

I paint in both egg tempera and acrylic. I learned tempera iconography from Fr.s Patrick and Moses at St. Gregory of Sinai Monastery (Bp. Sergius of Portland's Monastery) and acrylic iconography from Paul Azkoul, Metropolitan Moses and his twin brother, Seraphim. I have been in good hands, iconographically speaking.

I would like to eventually get an icon made of the several desert fathers and mothers in one scene. How much would it cost to have 7 saints standing in a group in the desert in Egg Tempera? (say a panel size 40X50 cm)?

Your new icon of St. Photios of Constantinople is awesome.
Is he your patron saint?

Are you considering making any icon prints or possibly allowing Holy Ascension Monastery to make prints?

Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me a sinner.

Yes, this is "my" St. Photios.

If Holy Ascension Monastery is going to start making reproductions, they certainly may use it. That will be their choice if ever the question comes up. I tend to not worry about it, as I have seen icons from my Flickr stream all over the place on the net, along with the icons of a number of my contemporaries.
