Truly, that the former Rocor clergy and people should accept this slap in the face without at least threatening to sever ties with the MP just shows how cowardly and spineless they all are. What a shocking shame. I would not have believed it possible of these men if I had been told of it as a possibility 15 years ago.

Lord have mercy. Someone mentioned that KGB operatives have infiltrated almost all World Orthodox jurisdictions, so they were not surprised that ROCOR was likewise infected.

Yes, in fact, I have at least twice come across people on Orthodox forums and social networks who were pretending to be Orthodox Believers but turned out to be operatives. I will not go into any further details about it, but suffice it to say that they exist and are active. They actually are getting PAID to infiltrate us and gain our trust, and they are very well trained to look, smell, feel, and speak just like a sincere Orthodox Christian would, but they are employed by atheist organizations (including the MP which is indeed an atheist Organisation. I remember how when they took Saint Polycarp to the arena to be martyred in great old age, the proconsul demanded he declare "Away with the atheists!" and he would release him. [the Romans considered the Christians to be atheists because they refused to honour their gods], So Polycarp did as he was commanded but as he did so he pointed his finger at the proconsul and the crowd around him in a sweeping gesture with his outstretched hand. Needless to say they did not accept this. So we should know that the MP is atheist because their lip-service to Christ is in fact devoid of real faith and therefore they remain atheists.)
