Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me a sinner.
Oh ! I just went into K-Mart for the first time in YEARS - !
I noticed how cheap everything looked these days there.
K-Mart USED to be OK.
I was looking at the aprons which seemed well made. At first glance.
Upon examination of the label, always top of my agenda, they were Made in China. I skipped,
in favor of others made in Pakistan, which has an incredible textile industry of 100 % cotton.
Chinese cotton always feels like - ugh ! I am sure there are some chemicals or something awful
mixed in with it.
I felt always to avoid Ginger [the root] imported from China. Sure enough, an article appeared in the
previous WSJ [when it was owned by a private family] about how poisonous the Chinese ginger root was
detected to be.
[ Be sure to get ginger from Hawaii or South Pacific.]
I notice a lot of tools now are prominently saying "MADE IN USA". People just hate the Made in China stuff !
Thanks for the tip about ginger root. Another thing to start growing myself here.
