Many people write bad thing about another here. But it is not the "truth" necessarily, it just is personal opinions, and even slanders. As for Father Anthimos, I never meet him, but I heard he is a good and traditionalist priest and he deserves respect. In EC, we should allow that clergymen to be only called by their name just like laymen.
Blagoslovite: Good call. While the tone should be looser on a discussion forum, I can tell you from running NFTU we get a lot of reference (especially with the increased activity in the past few months) from the Euphrosynos Cafe. My point? A lot of people read this, and posts like this scandalize a lot of people. I'm sure that was probably the poster's intent, but it's a really evil one. Think about that, and root it out.
My question to the poster is this: what exactly is the purpose of the post?
Someone asked where Fr Anthimos Bichir was. Not "please tell me all the dirt on his personal life". :ohvey:
So what's the point? If we don't get it yet, there are going to always be certain people, "world Orthodox inquirers", who encourage us to toss dirt around because they "want to know the truth". It's a load of garbage, people. Anyone who wants to toss dirt around isn't doing their job as an Orthodox Christian. It's time for us to wake up and realize who are friends and who are enemies-- not of US, but of ORTHODOXY. Otherwise, we will NEVER get to a point where we can work together to preserve that which was "once delivered to the Saints", the Holy Orthodox Faith.
And that only works in the service of one bunch of people: the folks who own all the empty buildings and try to steal ours, the "canonical, official, state" Orthodox Church.
