I know 4 of the priests in question, have been to the services on numerous occasions, have even attended a couple of their parish council meetings, and know some of the parishioners, so I am sure that I quite informed of the affairs at the Dormition parish (although I am not a member of it, that I will completely agree on).

So all the issues that have taken place in the Church the last 100 years are my fault? I didn’t know I was the devil, or that my personal sins were the cause of the Soviet Revolution in Russia, the introduction of the papal calendar in the Greek patriarchates/churches, the declaration of Metropolitan Sergius and the creation of the MP, Ecumenism, the fall of ROCOR, and the countless divisions within traditional Orthodoxy...

The comment regarding the desert was a matter of speech, but since I have to explain everything I say or write, I will just stop it now, it doesn’t bring anything good to anyone any more …

At the end, there are only a couple of us that actively participate here, so no matter what I write, it will just be gone with the wind of passé threads as previous topics have.

I know those priests too and the parish council members. I also know several of the members. What is the point of airing all of these disputes in public? Every Church has problems, every parish, mission, the desert, every monastery. Nowhere is perfect. What is needed is, instead of fighting, is to work together for Christ, and to look past each other's faults.

I never said all the problems are your fault. No need for hyperbole. We can't affect what happens to us. But we can always control how we react to anything that happens to us.

What ultimately are you looking for? Is there any way we can help you with your spiritual life?
