Dear Katya, the canons which I have quoted are from the councils which you are looking for. The Orthodox councils have already shown us what is Orthodox and what is not, to say that the church can change and evolve is blasphemy against the Holy Trinity and is Latin thinking, the church was, is, and will be perfect, you cannot change calendars, overlook canons, and do whatever you feel like.It is not what we perceive that determines what is Orthodox, it is what the Holy Trinity through the canons and fathers of the church formed that tell us what determines what is Orthodox, if the canons and fathers tell us what is Orthodox and the ep contradicts the canons and fathers how can both the canons and fathers be orthodox and the ep as well, do not look to a title for Orthodoxy. Let me give you a example that might help you understand:
There is 2 Orthodox Bishops in communion with each other, Bishop A and B. Bishop A starts attending ecumenical gatherings, starts praying with heretics, with women priests, buddhists, with relegions that Blaspheme the Holy Trinity and the Theotokos, bishop A also starts blaspheming the confession of faith by saying their is grace in the mysteries of heretics and schismatics as well, then also Bishop A becomes a freemason and causes a schism in the church by disrupting the liturgical unity of the church by introducing a three time ANATHEMATIZED NC forcefully into the church via beatings, prison, and murder.
And while all this is happening Bishop B does not accept any of this and warns Bishop A that his actions are against the teaching of the Orthodox church and if he doesnt stop he will cut communion with him, Bishop A continues his acts, and Bishop B cuts communion with him.
CONCLUSION:
BISHOP A has innovated and has gone against the canons and traditions of the Orthodox church, therfore by not doing Orthodox things, he is no longer Orthodox.
BISHOP B has maintained what was handed down to him, and seeing that BISHOP A has not maintained a Orthodox confession of faith, that is does not have the same confession with BISHOP B, he cannot have communion with him, BISHOP B is the canonical bishop because he has not changed anything. In order to have communion you must have the same confession of faith, the ep does not have the same orthodox confession of faith as the Orthodox church and its saints, therefore it is the ep that has made a new church, the OC church is the same church it has always been...the Orthodox Church.
