The Sergianists on this list tend to appear or geniunely are well mannered, calm and thoughtful. The closest thing we had to someone more representive of Sergianism as a whole has been banned quite a long time now (Rostislav). A Moldovan friend of mine told me recently that a "Russian" pulled a gun on her for speaking her own language to a friend and told her "to speak human and stop barking like a dog", his Orthodox cross swinging on a chain around his kneck. Now who can imagine Katya doing such a thing for instance? Maybe it is time to bring back Rostislav so that we can get a better understanding of what Sergianism and Sergianists are (though even he is Sergianism-lite).

There are extremists on both sides. And on both sides extreme views can lead to extreme behaviour whereas well-balanced views tend to lead to well-balanced behaviour.

Don't be misled - extreme nationalism is just as rampant in "True" Orthodox circles as it is in "World" Orthodox circles.
