Well, thank you for the kind words and courtesy. It is greatly appriciated.

Please understand, I have read this book, and many others, but science and science. The Fathers are theologians NOT scientists. I respect and honor the Fathers, and read them, but when it comes to the Age of the Earth, the Genetic Markers of Humanity, and the evolution of Man and Apes from a common ancestor its pretty solid!

In fact, I urge everybody to watch the "Genetic Journey of Man" on you www.tube.com which was taken from a Leaning Channel Special. What is so very interesting about this program is that man lived as a single small group of humans in southern Afica about 50,000 years age and that something, no one knows what, made them to leave southern Afica.

Question: "What made the first men and the first women leave?" "Why did they leave?" By all accounts they had everything. It was a "Paradise." However, something made them leave.

I find this fascinating as it parallels, in many ways, the Story of Adam and Eve's expultion from the Garden of Eden. This leaving (maybe expulsion?) is documented in our genetic code.

The overlap is amazing! Take another look at evolution and find God in the creative process for what that process is, not what we want it to be. That's all I can say.

In the end the Dinosaurs are the real sticking point because if we lived at the same time as the Dinosaurs we would have been eaten and extinct as a species a long time ago!

Both the scientific evidences established by ICR and the correct application of hermeneutics have provided conclusive data that the Earth is thousands, and not billions of years old. A good article for a summary is The Vital Importance of Believing In Recent Creation.

Many believe that the world was created with an appearance of age, due to uniformitarian processes that God presumably used in evolution. However, as is often heard from wise sages on TV or in movies, "Looks can be deceiving," or, "All is not what it seems." A scientific examination of geological processes will reveal that cataclysmic processes transformed Earth into what it looks like today.

There are only two choices for origins. The first possibility is that God created the earth, the universe, and all of life without any form of evolution (for many scientific and theological reasons). Many Christians interpret the Genesis creation as a metaphorical or allegorical story. Others insert long ages into the Genesis creation week by way of the Gap Theory, Day-age Theory, Progressive Creation, Theistic Evolution, and often believe that our universe was caused by the Big Bang.

The second possibility is that the earth, the universe, and all of life developed over time by chance from nothing. Every non-Biblical cosmology is based on evolution uniformitarianism. But this must be rejected based on probability, as well as many other science reasons for a young world. As an example, we read in ICR founder Dr. Henry Morris’ article Probability and Order Versus Evolution (#73),
