And if GOC-Chrysostomos would accept the kyprianites without their repenting from false teachings of Met. Kyprian and the doubtful origin of the "Synod in Resitencia", or as it wolb be canonically correct the group of Kyprianos should be repented and reject their false doctrine for being received in the canonical GOC.

Father Bless!

That would be apostasy. I do not believe that though is an immediate possibility for the time to being.

However we have to pray for the healing and Salvation of the Kyprianites. This is indeed a risky venture. Canonical problemns can be covered over by love while love demands that Dogmatic problemns cannot be.

The Kyprianites recent alliance with Agafangel makes things even more difficult between the True Church and them given his role in using the atheist state aganist the ROAC, RTOC, ROCiE, etc.

Dear Theophan:

God may bless you!

It is a very right point.

Keep me in your holy prayers.

With love in Christ.

The GOC has always held fast to its ecclesiology and I know we won't waver in our stance. Let us pray, though, that the Cyprianites are able to see their error in this matter so that unity can happen :).

Dear Andrew,

In I think 1903 St John of Kronsdahdt gave a sermon in which he stated that there was a very real possiblity that the entire Russian Church would fall away. We cannot state catergorically that the GOC will not fall.

Indeed please read the second canon of the council of Carthage where you will find the false teachings of the videos that you posted that have the apparent blessing of the HOTCA Bishops Anathemized (i.e. those who hold them cut off from the Church).

"Likewise it has been decided that whoever says that infants fresh from their mothers’ wombs ought not to be baptized, or says that they are indeed baptized unto the remission of sins, but that they draw nothing of the original sin from Adam, which is expiated in the bath of regeneration, whence it follows that in regard to them the form of baptism “unto the remission of sins” is understood as not true, but as false, let him be anathema. Since what the Apostle says: “Through one man sin entered into the world (and through sin death), and so passed into all men, in whom all have sinned” [cf. Rom. 5:12], must not to be understood otherwise than as the Catholic Church spread everywhere has always understood it. For on account of this rule of faith even infants, who in themselves thus far have not been able to commit any sin, are therefore truly baptized unto the remission of sins, so that that which they have contracted from generation may be cleansed in them by regeneration."

The danger of falling away is ever present especially in our evil times.

True, anything can happen, but I trust our bishops.

Dearest Andrew:

Without spirit of offending someone. I think that we should put all our hope only in Christ, not in the men. Very good in this matter is the writing of GOC Bishop Fotios of Marathon "Hero - Worshipping"

Many ROCOR people has put too many hopes in their bishops (Lavr, Mark et al) and they betrayed them.

I respect very much the GOC Synod under Archbishop Chrysostomos II and I don't believe that these good bishops would fall as far as Lavr and their accomplices did. But one should only trust blindly in God, not in the men.

BRAKING NEWS !
The Holy synod of Arch. Chrysostomos of Athens has already begun dialogue of an informal character, with the Holy Synod in Resistance on the ecclesiology matter! First Arch. Chrysostomos paid a visit to the monastery of St. Cyprian in order to be informed "viva voce" about the condition of the ailing metropolitan Cyprian. Then bishop Cyprian of Orei with two more bishops return the visit to the Archbishop's monastery (Panachrantou). They ask from everyone to pray for the unity of the church! Soon an english translation of the document.

We have to consider the very real possibility that the kyprianites are doing this in order to derail talks between the GOC and RTOC who have recently anathemized Kyprianism and the Papal Calendar.

That both ROAC and now RTOC have anathemized Kyprianism is an extremely postitive move. The differences between them are down to personality or ones of a non-dogmatic nature such as whether it is right to accquire above ground Church property in Putin's Russia.
