BRAKING NEWS !
The Holy synod of Arch. Chrysostomos of Athens has already begun dialogue of an informal character, with the Holy Synod in Resistance on the ecclesiology matter! First Arch. Chrysostomos paid a visit to the monastery of St. Cyprian in order to be informed "viva voce" about the condition of the ailing metropolitan Cyprian. Then bishop Cyprian of Orei with two more bishops return the visit to the Archbishop's monastery (Panachrantou). They ask from everyone to pray for the unity of the church! Soon an english translation of the document.

GREAT NEWS! GOC-CII and SiR
As a member of the World Orthodox who is now seriously inquiring into the GOC-II and has long been grateful for the work of the Synod in Resistance, particularly its periodical "Orthodox Tradition," I must say that I am really happy to read this. The Synod in Resistance and the GOC-II should never have separated. Both have very intelligent and erudite bishops of stroung courage and spirituality.
If such a union were effected and the Ecclesiology settled than it would mean a greater unity amongst the Old Calendar synods particularly with regards to the large number of Romanian Old Calendarists who are in communion with Met.Cyprian's Synod.
I do pray that the Love of God will resolve the split and these two bishops and these two synods will embrace in full communion.

Interesting it would be to know the terms of this dialogue (and if is true or it is just kyprianite propaganda to demonstrate their "legitimity"). And if GOC-Chrysostomos would accept the kyprianites without their repenting from false teachings of Met. Kyprian and the doubtful origin of the "Synod in Resitencia", or as it wolb be canonically correct the group of Kyprianos should be repented and reject their false doctrine for being received in the canonical GOC.

I think that is partly why they are having these talks though, in order so that the GOC can explain its ecclesiology to those under Met. Cyprian so that they can see how their ecclesiology is in error and come to some agreement so that they will be able to accept the GOC ecclesiology. The GOC has always held fast to its ecclesiology and I know we won't waver in our stance. Let us pray, though, that the Cyprianites are able to see their error in this matter so that unity can happen .

Yes I will keep an eye on this... But the situation of the cyprianist is really problematic : they are wrong in their conception of grace within heretical churches and moreover canonically speaking, their legitimacy is void because all these bishops come from illegal chirotonies...
Priidite, poklonimsja i pripadem ko Hristu.

This isn't the main problem. Or even better this problem doesn't exist. A legitimate Synod (such as GOC) has the power and the right to recognise the chirotonies of other orthodox churches. Don't forget that the Church is the treasury of divine grace. The ecclesiology is the main obstacle to the unity of the church.
