Why because I ask for proof? What specifically did Archbishop Gregory do to you that was so bad it warranted your departing from him? Give me specifics. What biblical, moral and/or canonical infraction did he engage in? Unlike other people, I don't accept broad and generalized hearsay claims. I need proof. If you don't feel comfortable producing evidence in a public forum, feel free to mail me. And if you are not willing to produce evidence in favor of your claims, you shouldn't bad-mouth a bishop in public.

If you just have personal subjective reservations about him, that is not something that should be used against him in public or private. If he broke Church, biblical, moral, or canonical laws then he should be exposed. With the possible exception of a violation of moral law. This is my opinion.

I admit there is a lot I don't know. I only know the way he has treated me. I have read several of the posts here for the first time. I didn't know Father Peter had Nathaniel arrested for theft. This is TOTALLY un Christian. A Christian would not only give Nathaniel what he needs, but as Father Herman of Platina once said, run after a thief and tell him "you forgot the television"! (youth conference in 1992).

I agree with Father Seraphim Rose about the dangers of the "super-correct" people. Many of us are perhaps direct victims of it.

I believe there is a vice among some contemporary hierarchs where they actually "bless" people to lie and sin. I believe they give "obediences" to people to lie and sin. This is SICK if it is true, and I have an inner feeling it is true. I believe the most corrupt people in religious history have been those with the most power. They often suffer from the delusion that they are immune to mistakes and/or sin. That they are above God's moral, ethical, biblical and canonical laws. And of course you can't tell them this because they have created a shield of pride around themselves which is virtually impossible to penetrate. Anytime anyone attempts to correct them, they think they are being attacked by demons. And they dismiss us because we are mere layman. Who are we to correct a bishop or priest?

Christ had the hardest time with the religious leaders of his day. They were just too proud.

There is too much pride and disobedience going on today, as far as I am concerned.

I told you what he Gregory did about using other people to write his emails and responses, too cowardly to speak himself-- you responded with "if this is true, then he is fallen."

Then you proceeded to defend him for the next two days.

I totally don't have any confidence in your honesty.

Let me ask you a question in response. Do you believe Matushka Christina, I and others are telling the truth? Can you even admit the possibility?

A simple yes or no on these questions will suffice.

Yes I do believe what she said. I have read a lot of posts here. I believe based on the evidence of the last week and my e-mail correspondences, that the people at Dormition Skete are liars. Just the other day I contacted a priest and former associate of Holy Ascension Monastery in New York who is now under Gregory and he wrote me and gave me totally incorrect information about that monastery. He bad mouthed their abbot, etc. He said all their monks have left and that he just talked to one the other day and said he also is leaving. Instead, (name withheld) said I should go and be with him. I contacted the monastery and Bishop Chrystodoulos and they said this was incorrect information. The bishop said the only one who has left was the cat, and the monastery said only one monk left four years ago. They said Gregory and (name withheld) are not reliable sources of information. Someone is lying. It seems like when the folks of Dormition Skete are invloved with something, a liar emerges. I believe Dormition Skete are liars. I say I believe because I don't have direct proof. I have an inner sense they lie. And I have always sensed that Gregory was interested in numbers for himself. That he wants everyone under him.

I believe Gregory "blesses" people and gives obediences to lie. I believe he often dictates what others should write. And I believe he purposesly maligns anyone who resists him.

If he and those with him happen to learn of what I have stated here, please keep in mind that they may attempt to discredit me and malign my character to cover their own backs. I am not a Soviet spy, I am not psychotic, a thief, rapist or axe murderer.

I don't like gossip, and what I have said is my own opinion. You may take it with a grain of salt. And if I am wrong about anything, I ask Dormition Skete to forgive me. Thank you.
