Status of Monastery of Saint Athanasios the Great in IL?

I live just down the road from the locked gates of the Monastery of Saint Athanasios the Great, near Woodstock, IL.

I REALLY wish they were still there.

What happened to them???

Is there still anyone left in my area that I could meet and study the Orthodox Faith with???

The monastery still has someone from the Chicago parishes go up to take care of it. He may be able to help you learn about Orthodoxy. Send me a private message and I will give you his email.
