The Soviets Chose Barabas and Crucified Christ

The Soviets of the MP who infiltrated and took over the ROCOR during the past decade--part of a specifically delineated strategy of the FSB under Putin--are unacceptable to Patriarch St. Tikhon because they chose Barabas (Sergius Strogordorsky) and crucified Christ (the true Russian Orthodox Church of Patriarch St. Tikhon and his designated Locum Tenans hierarchs.) All of the Soviet-appointed pseudo-hierarchs of the MP of the past century, including the reigning hierarchs Alexey Ridiger and Laurus Skurla, are the descendents of Barabas (Sergius), who was set free--and now even glorified in neo-Soviet Russia--while Christ and His true Church were crucified in their place.

From what I'm learning the infiltration of ROCOR started as early as the 50's. I asked an old emigre couple why did so many clergy suddenly flip-flop into the pro-union camp? I was told that many of the older ones just don't have the energy to oppose it. They are comfortable with their positions and want to keep things the same. Many of the younger ones just don't know - they don't know the history. And soon it will be very difficult to study the true history, because history is being rewritten. I was told that at least a few had been blackmailed. And that a few were just simply smitten with the MP. But a good number had been KGB all along, pretending to be real ROCOR and just waiting for the right time.

I also think demons are at work. We know they are going to work to make Antichrist popular, why wouldn't they also work to make the union idea popular.

It is difficult to learn the facts about the KGB infiltration of the ROCOR. There are hints about it in the biographies I have read of St. John of San Francisco, including the history of attempts to murder St. John (and Blessed Metropolitan Philaret.) There is also a new book by Konstantin Preobrazhensky entitled "The KGB and Russian Emigration," but it has been published only in Russian. I was told second hand that a current ROCOR-MP priest was quite aware that the KGB was active at Jordanville when he was a seminarian there several years ago.
