Greek Orthodox Church, or Orthodox Church in Greece?

Please excuse my nitpicking, but GOC stands for Genuine Orthodox Christians, does it not? I don't think it stands for "Greek Orthodox Church".

I feel it would be more precise to speak of the Orthodox Church in Greece, rather than the "Greek Orthodox Church".

The Church of God is neither Greek nor Russian, Romanian nor Serbian, Palestinian nor African, etc., but is Catholic.

It is one thing to say the "churches of Greece"; another to say the "Greek Orthodox Church".

Naturally, my objection would extend to usage of ROC (Russian Orthodox Church).

I believe it is more precise to say, "the Orthodox Church in Russia."

I'm sure many holy people have used both forms, so I suppose this is falls under the realm of my personal opinion.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

GOC for TOC (True or Traditionalist Ortodox Churches) Christians is "Genuine Orthodox Christians". So, GOC of Greece is the "Genuine Orthodox Christians of Greece", GOC of Romania is the "Genuine Orthodox Christians of Romania" et al.

As for ROC, the name prerevolucionary of the Russian Church was "Rossiyskaya" that means "of Russia", FROC/ROAC uses this name, while ROCOR and the MP use "Russkaya" ("Russian" or "of the Russian People") for obvious reasons ROCOR (ROCiE are outside of Russia) and the MP was an Soviet Nationalist institutions founded by Stalin in 1943 with reason of promoting the Soviet nationalism in the population to fight in the WWII.
