the theory of relativity makes it sound like time is a tangible, physical object that has varying velocities at different places ... like one biker being faster than the other -- time here is faster or slower than time there. ive certainly never seen or touched or heard time. it can be measured differently, but unless its an actual physical object that is moving, it cant move faster at some places than others, its not something that actually tangibly exists and moves.

OK - Let's try again.
Time is a dimension - the 4th dimension. The first three are what we can call length width and height.
Imagine you have a ruler, and in front of you is a cube that is one foot by one foot by one foot.
When you put the ruler against it, it matches perfectly in each of those dimensions.
Now, you are standing 20 feet away from that same cube on the table. You hold the ruler up, but it no longer matches one for one the cube! The cube looks like it is only an inch or two when you hold the ruler in your field of vision and look at the cube.
Has the ruler changed size? No. Has the cube changed size? No.
Your perspective has changed.
Every dimension is measured with perspective in mind, including time.
This is the point that other posters have been trying to get across. It is not as simple as "true" or "false" - it all depends on the perspective from which the measurement is taken.

I will answer your two basic questions, but you have not yet answered any of my six, basic questions posted during the past month on this thread. Since I asked you first, would you be so kind as to tell me:
1) Who the "sons of God" were who married the "daughters of men" to create the "giants," as described in Genesis Chapter 2? Since you obviously believe that you, yourself, have definitive, correct answers about the complex nature of God's creation of the cosmos, and of homo sapiens--called the "adamah" in the original Hebrew text of Genesis--who were these "sons of God" who sired the "giants" of the earth? And who were these giant Demigods?
2) Who were the daughters of men whom the two surviving sons of Adam and Eve--Seth and Cain-- married to sire the human race? Please just answer these two of my original six basic questions. No nonsense, please. (I will mention up front that, if all homo sapiens in the world today were descended from only one woman, we would all have identical mitochondrial DNA in our cells--through matrilineal inheritance-- which is decidedly not the case.)

The Genesis Literalists probably reject DNA as "a trick of Satan".
'Cause you know that there must have been Jew and Roman Catholic scientists involved in this discovery!

yes i understand that something appears to be a different size from farther away, but yet it is still actually one by one by one. my perception bc of a different viewpoint cannot change the properties of the cube.
