RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE ROCOR DIOCESE OF ODESSA
"We being gathered together in the God-saved city of Odessa on the 18th of May 2007, both clerics and lay persons of the Diocese of Odessa, are in agreement with our head, Bishop Agafangel, as he explained in his NOTIFICATION published on the 17th of May 2007 as follows:
"Because the repentance of the Moscow Patriarchate in the sins of Sergianism and Ecumenism has not yet occurred, I find it premature to establish between our churches Eucharistic and Administrative union. I also find unacceptable the ROCOR's refusal of its spiritual heritage, which will not be possible to preserve, in the conditions set by the MP Act of Eucharistic union.
"For this reason I remain in the former position of ROCOR until genuine solutions of principle questions for our church are produced. I continue to regard the orders and any instructions of any offices of church authority in the MP as not having canonical power."
