One of the most senior professors at the Holy Trinity Seminary in Jordanville, Fr Nikita Grigoriev, has been fired for his disagreement with Metropolitan Lavr's politics

Priest Nikita Grigoriev who was a teacher of apologetics at the Holy Trinity spiritual seminary of ROCOR(L), located at the monastery of the same name in Jordanville (New York), was fired from the seminary on the 2nd of May after 23 years of work as a dedicated professor.

The blog Sobor 2006 states that Fr Nikita was run out of the seminary for his personal views, which do not correspond with those of Metropolitan Lavr, that ROCOR is being directed into the canonical union and submission of the Church Abroad to the schismatic, sergianist and ecumenical MP.

It is expected that Fr Nikita will be replaced, in the upcoming school semester, by a professor from the spiritual seminary of the ROC MP located in Saint Petersburg.

Also....( in an abbreviated version)

Archbishop Mark has relieved Archimandrite Andronik Kotlyaroff of his duties at the Jerusalem Monastery at the Mount of Olives. Bishop Agapit was sent to Jerusalem on Mark's behalf to let Fr. Andronik know that his view about the union has been scandalizing the nuns at the Convent and is creating the beginning of a schism. (?) Fr. Andronik also wrote a letter, about one month ago, bringing up the ecumenism and sergianism points as a reason against the union. Fr. Andronik was notified of his removal in a meeting with Agapit on May 2nd. After the signing of the declaration on the 17th, Fr Andronik's replacement will be the Abbot Tikhon Zaitsev from the MP's mission in Jerusalem. Fr Tikhon has a questionable reputation in the Holy Land.
