In England, the Saint Edward Brotherhood has left ROCOR-L to unite with the Cyprianists (http://orthodoxengland.org.uk/departure.htm)

What a nasty letter! Especially since until recently ROCOR was in communion with the very Cyprianites that the Monastery and Convert left ROCOR for.

I hope others who can not in good conscience join the Sergianist, Ecumenist MP are not attacked in the same manner by ROCOR clergymen!

The Holy Synod in Resistance continues the Narrow Path that ROCOR has now abandoned, neither falling to the left nor to the right.

I am now in the Holy Synod in Resistance. The Church that walled itself off from ROCOR last year after having been in communion, along with the Bulgarian and Roumanian OC churches, for over 12 years.

Benjamin thank God you have gotten out of the Soviet debacle!

However I really hope that know what you are doing joining the Cyprianites if you believe that schism is worse than heresy- there can be nothing worse than falling under one's own anathema. It might be a good idea to study the history of the struggle of the Greek Orthodox Church in the 20 th century before deciding which "jurisdiction" to join.

But the thing is that ROCOR had a solid canonical basis (unless you want to pay heed to the rantings of a Rostislav...), I dont think the same can be said about the Kyprianites (I am not saying that they dont have Grace, I am saying though that I cant be certain that they have). Maybe someone more knowledgable can post something.

If you can't be certain then don't confuse. They are just as canonical, if not more, than any of the other alphabet soups of "Traditional Orthodoxy" I will take them over the Homosexuals of HOCNA any day.

Must you use "Kypriantines"? If this is permitted then I will start to use Vitaliban for Mansonville, Valentineites for ROAC, Gregzieites for the followers of the nutcase in Colorado, etc.
