Have heard a story that people involved in magic etc go to Orthodox Churches to "recharge" themselves. The person telling me interprets this phenomenon in the following way: Since no harm comes to them from communing unworthily (as the Church indicates in it's teachings) and they are actually able to "recharge" themselves, then something must be wrong with the communion and corresponding Church. Would love to hear anyone's thoughts on this matter - especially the clerics opinions.

Well, nothing wrong happens to them immediately. But what about the things that will occur to them when they die? Moreover, God is said to be slow to punish people so as to give them time to repent... Just imagine : if he had to punish anyone immediately, there would not be many people left on Earth.
