The Christology of the Assyrian Church of the East comes not from Nestorius, but primarily from Babai the Great:

Very well. Let me ask you: Can you confess like me and say that only the Human nature of Christ suffered on the Holy Cross, and the Divine Nature did not suffer in any way?

What do your modern thinkers say on this? More importantly, what do your fathers say on this?
